Our Mission Statement

     Our mission is to take advantage of the teachable moments that happen every day. We foster the intellectual, creative, social, emotional, and physical growth of our students. Our priority is to provide a healthy balance of child-directed and teacher-guided activities, as well as for children to work individually, in small groups and in large groups. We believe that a safe, healthy, comfortable, and culturally relevant environment is crucial to a child's growth. Our bilingual teachers strive to help our English Language Learners develop English skills and understand the importance of supporting a child's home language. At Mother Love, we know our community well,  are responsive to its diversity and integrate the aspects of different children's cultures into our curriculum through the materials and topics we choose.  Building partnerships with families is important and we offer families many opportunities to visit our school and participate in their children's learning. Our nine learning centers take into account every learning style, culture, and specific needs of each child. Mother Love is committed to making sure that our children transition to kindergarten with a strong foundation, a love for learning and fluency in English.
